Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
After months of training in the Munros of Scotland, our Chairman Andrew Samuel and his son Callum conquered Mount Kilimanjaro, all 5,895 metres of it!
Raising a fantastic £2,300 in the process, Andrew fed back that this was not only a significant achievement for him and Callum but also life changing experience that they will never forget.
Charity Golf Competition
Organised by our very own Brian McGarrity, a charity team competition was held at Drongan Golf Club in Ayrshire.
The sun shone on the day and all the club members went over and above in taking part and providing prizes to raise over £1000. A great achievement by all involved and so much so that this has now been earmarked as an annual fundraising event.
Pure Team Step Challenge
In the summer the team at Pure and their families and friends took part in a Step Challenge to see who could complete the most steps in one month. Organised by Elaine Dunn, everyone paid a fee to join the challenge, part of which was then given as a prize to the winner.
This fun challenge raised some great team spirit as well over £300 for Breast Cancer Now and as a nice end to it all, the winner donated their prize to the charity.
This event is being run again during the month of October, getting us all active again ahead of the cold, dark winter months.
