Charity Update – Andrew’s Skye Munro Challenge

Charity Update – Andrew’s Skye Munro Challenge

Earlier this month our Chairman Andrew and his son Callum took on the challenge to climb the 11 Munro’s on the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye. Andrew has raised £2500 for our chosen charity of the year – The Trussell Trust, and all of us at Pure are very proud of him for doing such a tough, and demanding challenge.

Andrew claimed that this challenge was a ‘hair-raising experience‘, with his highlight of the challenge being the narrow blade of rock that forms the summit of Sgurr Dearg also known as the Inaccessible Pinnacle. On top of the Inaccessible Peak, Andrew’s son got his haircut by his barber who joined them to this challenge. Must be a record of being the highest haircut in Great Britain!!

All of us at Pure are honoured to support such a life-changing and impactful charity, and with our fundraising efforts, we have raised almost £3,300. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and donations!
