Meet the People Behind Pure

Andrew Samuel
Founder & Chairman
Andrew has over thirty years experience working in lubricants and lubrication management. Having been Owner & Managing Director of SLS and then The Lubricant Company (TLC), Andrew established Pure Lubrication to provide first class customer service and lubrication solutions for clients across all industries.

Simon Campbell
Managing Director
Simon has worked in the fuel and lubricants industry for 30 years, starting his career with Highland Fuels before joining The Lubricant Company where he worked in various sales and service roles for 15 years. Simon is passionate about delivering solutions and a first class service to all Pure Lubrication customers.

Chris Davies
Sales Director
Chris has worked in the oil industry for over 40 years, with businesses such as ExxonMobil, The Lubricant Company, World Fuel Services and Chevron Texaco and has an excellent track record in providing lubrication solutions across a wide range of industries.

Jamie Neilson
Engineering Reliability Manager
Jamie specialises in aiding organisations optimise system performance, increase equipment uptime, and drive operational excellence. With over 16 year’s experience and a strong foundation in engineering principles and reliability methodologies Jamie provides above and beyond value to our clients.

Elaine Dunn
Customer Service Manager
Elaine has fifteen years experience working with lubricants and lubrication management clients.
She heads up the Pure Lubrication Customer Service department, providing first class, friendly customer service support and advice on all things lubrication.

Roger Saxton
Engineering & Business Development
With nearly forty years experience working with Mobil Lubricants and Lubrication Management clients, Roger spent the majority of his career with ExxonMobil and The Lubricant Company (TLC).
He is now working with the team at Pure Lubrication, offering engineering and business development solutions to key industrial clients.

Steve Hayward
Reliability Solutions Expert
Steve has over 45 years’ experience working in the Lubrication Equipment and Systems industry. Steve served as Managing Director for 15 years at Denco Lubrication and prior to this for 27 years at Centralube (E&GE) as Contracts Director. Working in various industries such as Power Generation, Metal Processing, Manufacturing, Transportation and F&B. Steve is now working with the team at Pure, offering tailored solutions to key industrial clients.

Michael McCann
Sales Engineer
Michael has over 25 years experience working with lubricants and Lubrication Management accounts. His role as sales engineer, will be focusing on the Quaker Houghton brand and providing technical solutions for customers, primarily in the industrial process/metal working industries across Scotland.

Rachel Anderson
Finance and Operations Manager
Rachel has now moved into the role of finance and operations manager where she oversees all financial and operational aspects of Pure Lubrication. She has the responsibility of managing costs, analysing data, and streamlining processes, Rachel ensures that our business operates smoothly and efficiently.

Codie Cargill
Customer Service Specialist
Codie began her career with Pure Lubrication through a Business & Administration Apprenticeship, completing two apprenticeships to grow her skills. Now thriving as a Customer Service Specialist, she is dedicated to ongoing training and continually enhancing her skills to provide world class customer service and ensuring every customer has a positive experience.

Irene McAughey
Customer Relationship Manager
Having spent over 25 years in the industry, working with Mobil Lubricants and lubrication management clients, Irene is part of the the team at Pure Lubrication, offering customer service, expert advice and lubrication solutions across all industries.

Callum Samuel
Business Development
Callum holds a First-Class Honours degree in International Business with Enterprise from the University of Strathclyde. He has developed strong expertise in B2B sales across engineering, manufacturing, and automotive sectors, giving him a deep understanding of customer pain points and procurement inefficiencies. Supporting customers and colleagues, Callum is involved in supplier engagement, pricing and customer account management.

Billy McCann
Reliability Engineer
Billy is a motivated reliability engineer specialising in lubrication. Although new to the field, he brings strong technical skills and a passion for improving machinery performance. Eager to learn, Billy quickly adapts to challenges and actively pursues industry knowledge to enhance team success.

Shaun Murtagh
Reliability Engineer
Shaun is part of our reliability engineering team, delivering customised value added solutions to key industrial customers. He ensures the reliability of customer assets and supports the customer in achieving their KPIs. Shaun has 3 years previous experience in the manufacturing sector.

Brian McGarrity
Reliability Engineer Team Lead
Brian is part of our reliability engineering team, delivering customised value added solutions to key industrial customers. Brian’s experience ensures customer equipment is well maintained, running efficiently and lubrication tasks are completed on time, safely and in line with KPIs.

Matthew Hulley
Reliability Engineer
Matthew is one of our very talented engineers dedicated to providing the best reliability solutions and recommendations of products to you across all industries.
New to lubrication, Matthew is always keen to learn and is a valuable member of Pure Lubrication.

Rebecca Richardson
Marketing Manager
Rebecca has over 10 years experience in business development, branding and marketing. Rebecca has honed her expertise through her work with some of the UK’s most prominent and successful independent marketing agencies, as well has having contributed to the growth and market success of independent brands.
